According to the Iranian authorities, this phase included the conduct of a counter-offensive operation using a wide range of weapons in the zone from the port of Jask to 10 degrees north latitude in the Indian Ocean. During the development of skills, a “swarm” of kamikaze drones was launched at enemy targets. In particular, the Lavan floating base attacked the Eilat Israeli naval base in the Red Sea, which was imitated 20 km east of Jask. In addition, the Iranian submarines "Fateh" and "Gadir" launched torpedoes of the "Valfajr" family, and ground units worked on enemy ships from the anti-ship systems "Gadir". 🔻Zulfikar exercises are held annually. However, Mohajer drones, also purchased by Russia, have not yet shown their effectiveness. ➖Thirdly, with each new exercise, the Iranians are increasingly expanding the geography of their presence. Ships reaching the line of 10 degrees north latitude testify to the growing strength of the Iranian fleet, and, consequently, the possibilities of its use. Geopolitical challenges both abroad and in the domestic arena are forcing the Iranian leadership to act in accordance with threats. So, at the shipyards in the Persian Gulf, two merchant ships are being converted into UAV-carrying ships.
