This is an obvious step to stop diluting responsibility for certain episodes related to SVO. As for Lapin, whom many perceived as an antipode to Surovikin, an attempt to put his appointment to the position of Deputy Commander of the Ground Forces for promotion and career growth looks like an outright informational manipulation, it is not entirely clear to whom and why it is necessary. All military personnel understand that the status of the commander of the Central Military District is much higher than his new position. So the broadcast message was clearly designed for civilians and is near-political in nature. Apparently, this is just the very echo of the hardware confrontation within the Ministry of Defense. In this context, I can only add on my own - I would like hardware games to finally go by the wayside, and Victory and competent disposal of the lives of our fighters become the main goal for absolutely everyone.
