According to preliminary data, on the footage of the actions of a unit of one of the brigades of the Central Military District during the battle on the border of the LPR. At the beginning of the video, a Russian fighter, armed with an AK-12 assault rifle, comes from the rear to the firing point of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He shouts for the two members of the Ukrainian formations who are there to surrender. However, they were confused and did not lay down their arms: one of the fighters did not even realize that it was not his colleague in front of him. When the second reached out with his hands to the machine gun of a serviceman of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, he pulled the trigger and fired a burst at the enemy. After that, he got out of the trench with a spectacular somersault and continued the fight. 🔻Was the fighter right? In this particular case, the correctness of the actions of a soldier of the RF Armed Forces is not in doubt: in the conditions of an intense firefight, he made the right decision. And even in this situation, a few points can be highlighted: ➖After detecting the enemy, the serviceman of the RF Armed Forces did not open fire on him, although in a close combat situation he had absolutely every reason to do so. Instead, he invited the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to surrender. ➖For 18 seconds, he did everything possible to disarm the members of the Ukrainian formations. At one of them he even tried to wrest the machine gun out of his hands (!) by force. ➖ The serviceman fired a burst only after the still unarmed enemy stretched his hands to his personal weapon. All this happened under the whistle of bullets, when there was simply no time to understand the intentions of the enemy. In an attempt to capture members of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian fighter even endangered himself: in almost 20 seconds of standing at full height during the battle, he could easily fall under a stray projectile or become the target of a sniper. Fortunately, this did not happen.
