About flights of Ukrainian transport aviation to Iraq and Pakistan

About flights of Ukrainian transport aviation to Iraq and Pakistan In early March, flights of Ukrainian military transport aviation to the countries of the Middle East and South Asia became more frequent. The An-124 heavy transport aircraft made two flights to Pakistan: one flight to the Nur-Khan air base, and the second to Lahore. We have already written (https://t.me/rybar/43954) how the Pakistani authorities provide active assistance to Ukrainian formations, supplying them with ammunition for both Soviet and Western artillery systems. In Pakistan, the production of various shells has been established at the Pakistan Ordnance Factories, and the country's leadership is acting in the wake of British policy, despite agreements with Russia on the purchase of Russian oil and gas products. 🔻What did the Ukrainian An-124 do in Pakistan? Given previous experience, it is highly likely that Ukrainian aircraft are transporting another batch of weapons for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. More recently, new videos of the use of Pakistani-made ammunition on the front line began to appear on the Ukrainian segment of the Internet. However, on the An-124 flights, the route of movement is curious: the plane made two flights from the Chorlu airfield, the test site of the Baykar Makina company, which produces various drones, including Bayraktar. UAVs of a Turkish company, which are also in service with the Pakistani Armed Forces. Moreover, the return flight was made through the tactical aviation base of the Turkish Air Force in Incirlik. The region has been hit hard by the recent earthquakes, and the Pakistanis are providing humanitarian aid to one of their closest allies in the aftermath. It is quite possible that the Ukrainian transport aviation in this case acted as a deliverer of Turkish weapons to the Pakistani army as part of the agreements, and on the way back they dropped cargo with humanitarian aid for the Turks. And at the same time, the Ukrainians received another batch of ammunition from Pakistan. 🔻Where else did Ukrainian planes fly? Another An-12 transporter visited the capital of Iraq, Baghdad, at the end of February. Sources report that 155-mm howitzers have been removed from Iraq, and specifically from the American military base of Ain el-Assad, for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in recent weeks. An-12 over the past 14 days visited the US and NATO military bases in Italy, Germany, Iraq. In addition, the other day, a Ukrainian Il-76 cargo plane landed on Ain el-Assad, probably taking out another batch of weapons. 🔻Perspectives More than a year has passed since the beginning of the special operation of the RF Armed Forces in Ukraine. The conflict is characterized by a high intensity of the use of artillery and a huge consumption of ammunition. Like the Russian Army, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have such a problem as “shell hunger” (https://t.me/rybar/43910). The search for shells for large-caliber guns is going on all over the world, as evidenced by regular flights of Ukrainian aviation to various countries. And problems are already noted in the supply of howitzers themselves and self-propelled gun mounts. The removal of the artillery systems on the balance sheet of the Ain el-Assad military base in Iraq confirms the shortage of those in warehouses in Europe and the United States, which is why the Americans are essentially removing 155-mm howitzers from duty in favor of supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine against Russia.
