Violent clashes between the Rapid Reaction Force and the Sudanese Army continue (https://t.me/rybar/45932) in Sudan.

According to the Sudanese doctors' union, at least 144 people have died since the beginning of the conflict, and more than 1,400 have been injured to varying degrees. At the same time, WHO reported 185 dead and 1,800 injured.

According to Al Jazeera, at least 15 hospitals in the country stopped their work as a result of clashes and bombings.

🔻The most active clashes continue in the Khartoum area

The RRF announced that they had taken control of the capital's airport, as well as the radio and television building in the neighboring city of Omdurman.

Around the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Sudan, fierce battles continue with the use of artillery. Clashes also engulfed the city of Bahri.

▪️The Rapid Reaction Forces accuse the army of shelling hospitals, as well as organizing looters dressed in SBR uniforms to denigrate their image among ordinary citizens.

The residence of the Commander of the Rapid Reaction Forces, Muhammad Hamdan Daglo "Hamedti", was bombed, and nearby residential buildings were also hit.

▪️According to local media, the RRF fired at the armored vehicle of the US Embassy in Khartoum. EU Ambassador Aidan O'Hara was also attacked. None of the diplomats were hurt.

EU representatives said that the safety of personnel is a priority for them, however, after the attack, the EU delegation was not evacuated from the battle-stricken Khartoum.

🔻Regional Showdowns

▪️Clashes continue in the Meroe airport area. Satellite footage of the air base appeared on the Web (https://t.me/rybar/45970), showing the destroyed MiG-29, FTC-2000 and two damaged fighters.

▪️During the fighting, several Sudanese Air Force Su-25K attack aircraft were disabled, captured by RRF forces at Al Obeid Airport.

▪️Government forces announced the establishment of control over the base of the Rapid Reaction Forces in Al-Fasher.

🔻Other events

The parties to the conflict continue the information struggle, accusing each other of committing crimes and urging the world community not to trust the enemy.

▪️US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken this morning called on the parties to establish a ceasefire for 24 hours. Hamedti, after talking with the American politician, agreed to a truce.

The head of the Sovereign Council, Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, initially stated that there were no proposals to establish a ceasefire. However, then in an interview with CNN, he announced a ceasefire from 18:00 local time.
