🔻In the island zone of the Dnieper, Ukrainian tactical groups (ТГр) continue to entrench themselves on the islands and on the left bank. Subdivisions of TGr "Normandiya" and "Grom" carried out rotation of advanced groups on Alekseev and Aleshkin islands.

The main events unfolded on Cossack Island, where the ВСУ began to equip positions at the riverbed. However, the Russian reconnaissance group conducted a successful raid on Kazatsky, taking two people captive.

The rest of the 131 VSU reconnaissance battalion fled to the northern part of the island and took up a circular defense. The evacuation group transferred reinforcements on the boat, and on the way back to Nikolaevka was sunk by artillery.

🔻Activity of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the islands against the backdrop of increased troop grouping in this direction is not surprising. At the moment of deployment of the marine corps to force the Dnieper, the VSU should have a solid beachhead on the left bank.

Therefore, the intensification of fighting on the islands is logical. By the way, in the last two days there was no movement of columns from east to west: this means that the transfer of the marine infantry group has been completed.
