Real representatives of the local clergy posed for the sculpture; in the center is Father Nikolai Kotelnikov, who died today.

The priest served in Derbent for more than 40 years; he taught Orthodoxy and the Law of God lessons at a local Sunday school. Father Nikolai moved to Dagestan from Stavropol. He had a wife, three daughters and 6 grandchildren. - FRWL reports
