🇺🇸 🇯🇵 On the morning of August 6, 1945, an American B-29 named after the mother of the crew commander dropped a nuclear bomb on Hiroshima. The target was chosen because the General Staff of both the army and navy were located there. But most of the victims were Japanese civilians.
