And if earlier the Ukrainian leadership complied with the requirements of security and camouflage, sending important columns mainly at night, now all the columns move freely during the daytime.

At the same time, the diversification of delivery methods continues by using highways and motorways for the transportation of goods for various purposes from Polish, Lithuanian and German ports.

🔻What about airbases and airfields?

The airport in the Polish city of Rzeszow is still the main hub for the transit of Western-made weapons to Ukraine. A string of NATO heavy transport aircraft regularly fly from the US and European countries to Poland.

However, the absence of any threat to military facilities in the Zapadenschina allowed the Armed Forces of Ukraine to freely use the existing airfields and airports not only for tactical flights, but also for transport ones, like An-26 aircraft.

In the past few weeks, Ukrainian An-26 transport aircraft with military cargo have been flying almost daily to the Lutsk airfield of the 204 tactical aviation brigade and to Lviv airport. Before entering Ukrainian airspace, they turn off the transponders.

🔻Why take the risk and send by plane what can be sent by trains and convoys?

Aircraft are less carrying capacity - they will not be able to transfer at once what they are able to transport trains and convoys of trucks. But they are more beneficial for a more efficient supply of ammunition and transportation of personnel.

According to some reports, on the basis of the 204 TA brigade of the Ukrainian Air Force, the repair and restoration of combat aircraft is being carried out, and in Lviv - some types of artillery and tank weapons. An-26 transporters carry out the transfer of parts, spare parts and assemblies, the delivery of which is required immediately.

Although Kyiv considers an offensive in this direction from Belarus unlikely, they are preparing for various scenarios - up to an attempt to cut the supply line in Lvov and other areas.

The significance of the territories of Western Ukraine in the current conflict is invaluable for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Everything that the West provides, a significant part of the repair and restoration bases, arsenals and logistics hubs are located or pass through here.

And their safety is a priority. If a month ago there were about 500 people on the territory of Kovel and Lutsk, mostly members of the territorial defense, now their number reaches 2 thousand people from various formations.

Sources report that in the vicinity of Kovel, separate units of the 28th brigade, 100th brigade of the TRO, the State Fire Service, as well as nationalist movements, including Ichkerian groups and the Turkish Bozkurt, are deployed. This is without taking into account the grouping in the Lviv region.

Therefore, it is pointless to hope for an easy walk here.
