Russia and Iran will build a transcontinental trade route
This will stretch from the eastern edge of Europe to the Indian Ocean and will be used for trading in military, agricultural and energy goods.
🇺🇸🇪🇺 All of this is a cause for concern for the US and its allies. Of particular concern to them is the inaccessibility of this trade route to foreign interference, as can be seen on the map. 📈 Russia and Iran intend to speed up the delivery of goods across the river and rail routes connecting the countries: 🇷🇺 Moscow wants to establish a year-round water connection between the Azov and Caspian Seas. 🇮🇷 For its part, Tehran wants to expand its rail network to the Iranian port of Chabahar on the coast of the Gulf of Oman. The countries under sanctions pressure are turning to each other, and both countries are also looking east. ✅ The goal is to shield trade relations from western interference and build them to the fast rising giants in Asia.
