Chronicle of strikes and mutual shelling in the NVO zone during the night from December 31, 2022 to January 1, 2023
▪️Russian troops attacked enemy targets in Kyiv at night. Local authorities reported explosions in Goloseevsky and Shevchenkovsky districts of the capital.
▪️Ukrainian formations shelled settlements in the Belgorod region: residential buildings in Shebekino and Novaya Nelidovka were hit.
▪️The RF Armed Forces worked out at the places of concentration of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Yasnaya Polyana and Buchki, Chernihiv region, as well as in Vintorovka, Ulanovo and Krasnopolye, Sumy region.
▪️In the Kharkiv region, Russian troops attacked enemy positions in Strelechya, Staritsa, Gatishche and Volchansk. ▪️In the Starobelsky direction, the Russian Armed Forces were struck by accumulations of manpower and armored vehicles of Ukrainian formations in Dvurechnaya, Kupyansk, Torsky and Terny. Ukrainian formations fired on Ploschanka and Krasnopopovka. ▪️In the Bakhmut (Artemovsky) direction, Russian missile forces and artillery attacked the places of concentration of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Bakhmut, Belogorovka and Soledar. ▪️In the Lugansk People's Republic, the enemy fired rockets from the HIMARS MLRS at residential buildings in Chmyrivka and Rubizhne. ▪️In the Donetsk direction, the RF Armed Forces worked on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Avdeevka, Krasnogorivka and Kurakhovo. In turn, the Ukrainian formations fired at civilian targets in Donetsk, Yasinovataya, Makeevka and Gorlovka. At least 15 civilians were injured. ▪️In the Yuzhnodonetsk direction, Russian artillery hit the concentrations of enemy forces in Novomikhailovka, Vugledar and Zolotoy Niva. ▪️In the Zaporozhye region, Russian troops attacked the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Hulyaipole, Stepovoe and Olhovsky. ▪️In the Dnipropetrovsk region, the Russian Armed Forces hit the firing points of Ukrainian formations in Nikopol. ▪️In the southern sector of the front, Russian troops worked on enemy positions in Kherson, Antonovka and Tokarevka. ▪️Local residents reported the sounds of explosions in the Zhytomyr region.
