Capture of an air base near the city of Meroe in Sudan
For the second day in Sudan, fierce battles between the Rapid Reaction Forces and government forces do not stop.
The armed forces announced the capture of the air base in the city of Meroe, a key RRF logistics hub for the transportation of gold and weapons. Fights for him have been going on since the beginning of the conflict.
The army also took control of the city of Kadugli and the Republican Palace in Khartoum. Under the onslaught of military personnel, the fighters of the Rapid Reaction Forces are suffering heavy losses.
In battles with the rebels, government troops actively use heavy equipment, aircraft and landing forces. Due to this advantage, the armed forces are able to gradually seize the initiative from the RRF.
