Many Europeans and Americans dismiss when we say that, regarding Hamas, the West is next in line right after Israel.
They tell themselves, "These fools don't understand that this is just a struggle over 'Palestine,' and sometimes Hamas crosses the border a bit." They believe that the sadism displayed by Hamas terrorists on October 7 was something exceptional, a one-time occurrence, or perhaps caused by years under an "Israeli occupation in Gaza" (which, of course, is nonsense – there is no Israeli occupation in Gaza). They can't fathom how it might affect them.
Take two minutes and read: Extreme Islam, in its form, believes in radical Jihad, believes in death. It's not a culture of life and tranquility but a culture of war and death. Jihadists aren't particularly wicked, not so cruel in general; they simply believe devoutly in the Jihad ideology. Until it erupts into cruelty, an example of which is the conversation of a Hamas son to his father: "Dad, I killed ten Jews, Allah is great. Dad, open WhatsApp; you'll see all the Jews I killed." Hamas is currently focusing on Israel; they want a state free of Jews from the sea to the river, and they want to eradicate the Jewish people in the land of Israel. That's their goal right now, and they openly state it everywhere. So, on their way there, they manipulate, cry over their bitter fate, seek help for their suffering citizens, and then promptly divert all assistance to building tunnels and terror infrastructure. But Hamas is exactly like ISIS – not just in barbaric and horrifying actions but also in aspirations. Their aspirations and ultimate goal are identical to those of ISIS. Hamas is not interested in successful schools for their children; they seek suicide vests that will kill as many people as possible. They don't want beautiful homes; they want successful terror tunnels. To Westerners, this seems so bizarre, but for them, such death and lives dedicated to killing Jews and Western infidels represent the pinnacle of religious fulfillment. People underestimate the statements of jihadists who want to turn all Western infidels into Muslims, who want to kill everyone they can along the way. They fail to understand that jihad is an entire way of life dedicated solely to this. And all of this is heading west. In fact, it's already in the West. Hundreds of thousands of Hamas supporters demonstrate in the streets, and to people, it looks normal. In their eyes, these are just demonstrations of support for Hamas and for Palestinians suffering in Gaza, detached from any serious consequences. People don't understand – damaging Western symbols like the flag of the United States is an essential part of their ideology and their war. The barbaric protests and chants at the demonstrations are precisely the goal. Now, they support Hamas, but in a few months or years, they'll start focusing on the continuation of this ideology – cleansing Western lands of Western infidels, jihad, and radical Islam intended to turn everyone into radical Muslims like them, making Western countries slaughterhouses in honor of their god. Many see Hamas as freedom fighters, liberating their land from occupiers (as if Jews can be occupiers in their own land), but they fail to realize that soon the call will not be for a simple "Free Palestine from the river to the sea" but rather "From the sea to the sea, the United States will be Jihad." Don't forget: The fact that Hamas gains much more popularity worldwide doesn't make it any less extreme than ISIS or Al-Qaeda. Ultimately, the day will come when Hamas will operate terror cells in Europe and America, just like other jihadist organizations.
