Saudi Arabia bombed Yemen for 8 years with F-15s and weapons provided by the US to no avail and the Yemenis continued to develop new weapons.
We will see what the US does, if they hit rocks and call it a day, then nothing significant will happen.
The element of surprise is already gone.
