🇸🇾🇹🇷 The Turks have posted footage of today’s massive attack on northern Syria. The video is just over two minutes long and will take some time to sort through, but some really important things have already been identified.
Early information about targeted attacks by the Turkish Air Force on energy facilities along the border has been confirmed. Three substations were hit by airstrikes:
➖ Ain al-Arab: 36.865745828224696, 38.333476579615976
➖ Ain Issa: 36.368044646740096, 38.85651144254183
➖ Amuda : 37.082171796649526, 40.930647252761446
Among other things, the Turks attacked SDF positions near Aleppo , southwest of Ain al-Arab, in Raqqa , Hasakah , Qahtaniya and Derik . In total, over the past 24 hours, more than 12 Bayraktar TB2 and Anka-S drones were deployed.
The intensity with which the Turks have been attacking Syria and Iraq over the past two days seems far from accidental, and perhaps the emerging political background may influence the Turks’ decision to resume the ground phase of the operation.
