After the end of the intergovernmental East African summit to resolve the situation in Sudan, in which the Sudanese leader Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan refused to participate due to the fact that the head of the RRF, Mohammed Daglo , was also invited to the event, active clashes resumed in various parts of the country.
🔻In the central part, government troops, who dug in in the only city under their control in the province of El-Gezira - Al-Manakil , tried to break through the defenses of the RRF to the east.
The main battles took place at Wad Rayiya , but without success. At the same time, the Sudanese Armed Forces lost several pieces of equipment and more than a dozen people were captured.
▪️In turn, the RRF intensified intelligence activities in different areas. Rebel DRGs were seen near Ad-Dweim . But more importantly, the RRF advanced to Jebel Moya near the Rabak-Sennar road.
An artery links Sennar with the garrison at the White Nile , and it is from Rabak that logistics are organized. Losing control of this road could create the preconditions for Sennar being surrounded by RRF detachments.
🔻In Southern Kordofan, the rebels conducted reconnaissance in force near Al-Abbasiya , even occupying one of the strongholds of the Sudanese Armed Forces. At the same time, in the western part of Sudan, the DRG of government troops entered into battle at the airport in Nyala , which is quite surprising, given that the Sudanese Armed Forces retreated from these areas a very long time ago.
🔻In the capital region, after the advance of the Sudanese Armed Forces in Omdurman , their pace fell. Now the line of control runs through the Al-Maurada quarter, and loud statements about the breakthrough of the RRF combat formations turned out to be false.
▪️Also, footage of the presence of rebels at the historical monument of Mussawarat near Shendi appeared on the Internet. In addition to accusations of destroying the cultural heritage of Sudan, it became obvious that the RRF had come close to an important stronghold of the Sudanese Armed Forces.
▪️Against this background, the RRF launched an information campaign, during which materials about upcoming attacks on Shendi, Sennar, Khartoum, and Kadugli are distributed online from various accounts. After all, in addition to creating panic, this allows you to confuse the enemy and prevent him from understanding where the main blow will be concentrated.
