The Ukrainian Armed Forces began using “mosquito logistics” in Chasovoy Yar
🔺Due to difficulties in using large-sized cargo equipment and fire control of the Russian Armed Forces over a number of key roads, Ukrainian troops remembered the tactics of “mosquito logistics.” Its APU was used shortly before the loss of Artyomovsk, Avdeevka, and was also used to supply the garrison in the village. p. After several successful logistics operations, the conditions for the use of pickup trucks and unarmored vehicles changed dramatically: Russian aviation and artillery intensified their fire, and at night the Russian Armed Forces began using drones with thermal imaging.
An attempt to change tactics led to the fact that during the day the “logistics groups” of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, throwing ammunition, water and food into Chasov Yar, began to more often come under surveillance and further defeat (on video).
The scale of the use of “mosquito logistics” is still extremely limited, but there is a feeling that the Ukrainian army is gradually being brought into the same conditions that developed shortly before the most deafening failures of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the last couple of years.
Part of the “mosquito logistics” operates through Konstantinovka in the southwest along the T-0504 highway, and a number of pickup trucks run along country roads between Novodmitrovka, Podolsky and Krasny. Dry weather and warming will allow the use of these channels for supply for some time, but the very first rains will make the use of this logistics arm extremely dangerous.
For now, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are trying to cover the movement routes with a significant number of electronic warfare systems, but the radio-electronic hood does not work every day, and the systems lost from Lancet and FPV attacks are not quickly replaced, which gives the Russian troops an additional window of opportunity.
