Chronicle of a special military operation

for January 9, 2023 🔻Belgorod region ▪️Russian air defense systems worked in the Belgorod region. All shells were intercepted. 🔻Starobelsk direction (map (https://t.me/rybar/42558)): ▪️On the Kupyansko-Svatovsky section of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, personnel are being rotated. In the direction of Raigorodka, reinforcements were deployed to the strongholds of 103 arr TRO, and new forces arrived in Stelmahovka. ➖UAV operators of the 40th combined battalion and 92nd brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are conducting reconnaissance of the positions of Russian troops in the area of Kuzemovka, Naugolny, Kolomyychikha. ▪️The reconnaissance activity of Ukrainian DRGs and Fly Eye UAVs from the 80th Airborne Brigade has increased in the Limansky sector. The enemy is pulling together reserves for an offensive in the Dibrova area. A battery of M777 howitzers was installed in Torsky, and at least 15 armored vehicles were deployed in Terny. ▪️ An increased activity of Ukrainian aviation over the territory of the Kharkiv region was noted, which may indicate an imminent attack on Russian positions. 🔻Soledar direction (map (https://t.me/rybar/42562)): ▪️Assault detachments of PMC "Wagner" are advancing in the center and on the northern outskirts of Soledar. There are fierce battles in the area of the city administration building. ➖Communications have been disrupted between the surviving scattered formations of the enemy. The enemy, presumably, is preparing to withdraw troops from the city due to the difficulty in holding positions. ▪️To the north-east of Bakhmut (Artemovsk), Russian units, using their advantage in the landscape, broke through the defenses of the formation of the 17th brigade and 60th brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from Podgorodny and Bakhmutsky, opening the way for a further attack on Krasnaya Gora and Paraskovievka. There is a cleansing of strongholds adjacent to the villages. ➖Further success of the Russian forces in this area will allow cutting the Seversk-Bakhmut highway, which will cut off the AFU grouping in Bakhmut from supplies from the north. ➖In the south and south-west of Bakhmut, assault detachments of the "Wagnerites" attack the fortified areas of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kleshcheevka and Opytny. Both villages are under full fire control of Russian troops. 🔻Donetsk direction: ▪️ Positional battles continue in the center of Maryinka. Russian units are trying to push the APU to the western outskirts of the city. ▪️Ukrainian formations again fired at civilian facilities in the Donetsk agglomeration: Gorlovka, Oleksandrivka were hit. In the capital of the DPR, a woman was killed under artillery fire, three people were injured. 🔻Zaporozhye region: ▪️Artillery duels continue along the entire line of contact: Russian troops hit targets in Charivnoye, Maly Shcherbaki, Stepovoe and Novodanilovka. Ukrainian formations attacked Dorozhnyanka and Vasilyevka. 🔻 Southern Front. Kherson direction: ▪️In the afternoon, Russian troops hit a target (https://t.me/rybar/42568) in Ochakovo, Mykolaiv region. The ammunition depot of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, located on the territory of the former 7th coastal battery, was destroyed. ➖After the impact, a powerful explosion rocked the object. Presumably, along with the ammunition depot, the radar station of the air defense complex was also destroyed. ▪️Ukrainian formations shelled Holaya Pristan, a married couple was killed.
